WORK IN HAITI.
FOUNDATION HOPE FOR HAITI, INC., Third Annual Gala on Saturday April 28, 2007 at the DEAUVILLE HOTEL in Miami Beach was a success. It started with the cocktail hour where guests enjoyed the Art and Creativity of Haiti.
Welcoming the guests was Carl Fombrun, the Master of Ceremony, radio and television personality. The invocation was given by Dr. Talbert Shaw, President Emeritus, Shaw University, Raleigh, North Carolina.
Florence Bellande Robertson, President of FHH opened the evening with a vibrant speech and explaining the goals of the Foundation. She was followed by Hans Tippenhauer, Executive Director, FONDATION ESPOIR, Haiti.
The SOLAR WATER PURIFICATION project was presented eloquently by Kevin Gors.
THE ARTISTRY OF MUSIC was offered to the guests by Composer and Maestro Jon Robertson, in the persons of Soloist Piero Guimarães, Violinist Helena Piccazio, Concert Master Edgar Leite, Adriana Lombardi on the Cello, Violinist Wallas Pena, Aziz Sapeyer on the Cello, Pianist Oliver Salonga. Modern Jazz artist Mushy Widmaier and Vocalist Nadege Robertson completed the musical ensemble.
